All motel rates are quoted in NZ Dollars and include GST (Goods and services tax) of 12.5 %
Rates are quoted on a per motel basis.
Extra person
An extra person can be accommodated on a rollaway bed or fold out sofa bed if available, at an extra cost, as quoted at time of booking confirmation. Please enquire regarding availability and costs at the time of making your request.
Child policy
Children under the age of 2 years old or less are free of charge when using existing bedding.
Any child requiring extra bedding will be charged for at the extra person rate.
Baby cots/cribs and high chairs are usually available on request for an extra charge, please check individual motel pages under features box.
Deposits and payments
To secure a booking a deposit of 10 % of the total cost of the stay is required at the time of reservation confirmation. This is a non refundable deposit.
The remaining balance is then automatically deducted 30 days prior to your arrival.
Secure payments
NZ Luxury Motels uses the secure DPS website system for credit card processing, taking of deposits and taking of the remaining balance.
You can securely supply us with your credit card details by booking on line through our website. Alternatively you can phone us or fax these details to our office.
Cancellations
Cancellation of confirmed bookings fewer than 14 days of arrival date will incurr a charge of one nights accommodation in full.
Cancellations made within seven days of arrival, or complete 'no shows' will incurr a charge of the full amount of the confirmed stay.
Non arrival or a 'no show' is deemed to have occured after 10.00pm on the day of check in, unless the customer notifies the property or New Zealand Luxury Motels of a late arrival.
Check in and Check out
Check in time is at 2.00pm
Check out time is 10.00am
Any room required prior or after these times, will be subject to availability and extra surcharges will apply. Please enquire at time of request.
Motel Vouchers
All confirmed bookings are issued with a New Zealand Luxury Motels confirmation voucher to be presented to the individual motel property on arrival. Please print off your voucher document and take it with you.
Late arrivals
Reception hours vary between motel properties.
If arriving after 5.30pm in the evening please phone ahead and inform the motel of your estimated time of arrival.

DISPUTES RESOLUTION POLICY New Zealand Luxury Motels will seek to rectify any issues arising from accommodation experiences at our member properties, but wishes to point out that these are independently owned motels and as a sales and marketing and representation company New Zealand Luxury Motels does not have full management control over the product delivered.
All parties acknowledge that they wish to avoid or minimize any differences or disputes under accommodation reservations. They therefore agree that if any differences of dispute arises between them over the interpretation of these terms and conditions, or in relation to any other matter arising under reservations held, then they will actively, openly, and in good faith, discuss that difference or dispute with a view to achieving a prompt resolution.
If New Zealand Luxury Motels cannot resolve a difference or dispute then they will refer it to an expert whose appointment they shall have agreed upon. The expert, whose determination shall be final and binding to all parties, will endeavour to resolve the difference or dispute within seven (7) days of referral.
If both parties cannot agree upon the appointment of an expert or if a difference or dispute should be referred to mediation, then the particular difference or dispute shall be settled by reference to arbitration. The reference shall be to a single arbiter if one can be agreed upon, or if not, to two arbiters ( one appointed by each party) and their umpire ( appointed by them prior to arbitration) such arbitration to be carried out in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1908.
