Hamilton is the only airport servicing the Waikato region, with both domestic and an international service The airport operates regular flights to/from most major towns and cities in New Zealand as well as international flights to Australia. Hamilton airport is 13km/8 miles south of the city, approx a 15 - 20 minute drive.
